Coach Atlantic offers round-trip shuttles from Charlottetown to Sommo, and from Route 6 Ranch to Sommo. (For shuttle service at other locations, please contact your accommodations provider.)

Travel
  • Where is Sommo Festival?
    The site is located behind Avonlea Village at 8779 Route 6, Cavendish, Prince Edward Island – centrally located between the cities of Charlottetown and Summerside.
  • Where is the nearest city?
    Both Summerside & Charlottetown are very close to the Cavendish Beach Events Centre. Charlottetown (driving time) –> 45 minutes Summerside (driving time) –> 35 minutes
  • How do I get to PEI?
    There are several ways to get to Prince Edward Island - by land, by air, by cruise, or for a unique and convenient way to travel to PEI, use Northumberland Ferries - an Official Transportation Partner of Sommo Festival.
  • Is there parking near the festival?

    • Onsite parking behind the main stage is $25 per day. After 10PM, all traffic must exit right (East) if you parked onsite.

     

    • Off site parking located at Tourist Mart is $15 per day. After 10pm, all traffic must exit right (West) if you parked at the Tourist Mart.

     

    • No ticket types include complimentary parking.

     

    • There are no pre-sold parking passes.

     

    • All parking is first-come, first-served.

     

    • If you leave the parking lot and come back, you will be required to pay the parking fee again.

     

    After 10pm:

     

    • All onsite parking must exit right (East) at the end of the night. Park in the PE lot if you’re headed to Rustico, Charlottetown, New Glasgow, Hunter River, etc.

     

    • All Tourist Mart parking must exit right (West) at the end of the night. Park in the PW lot if you’re headed to Kensington, Stanley Bridge, Borden-Carleton, etc.

     

  • Is there a shuttle option?

    Coach Atlantic/Maritime Bus offers convenient round-trip shuttle bus service between:

     

    • The concert site and Charlottetown
    • The concert site and Route 6 Ranch Campground

    Pick up location options:

     

    Founders Hall – 6 Prince St.

     

    UPEI – UPEI WA Murphy Student Center Bus Shelter (550 University Ave.)

     

    Royalty Crossing – T3 City Transit Bus Shelter (670 University Ave.)

     

    Shuttle Departure Times, by location:

     

    Founders Hall: Morning 11:00am, Afternoon 2:30pm and Evening 5:00pm

     

    UPEI: Morning 11:05am, Afternoon 2:35pm and Evening 5:05pm

     

    Royalty Crossing: Morning 11:00am, Afternoon 2:30pm and Evening 5:00pm

     

    Return shuttles start leaving at 10:30pm or when bus is full.

     

    Price: Weekend 2 Day Pass $99 plus tax and fees. Single 1 Day Pass $49 plus taxes and fees.

     

    All tickets are non-refundable. Shuttles are round trip.

     

    Shuttle passes DO NOT include a ticket to the festival, a festival pass must be purchased separately.

     

    Route 6 Campground <—> Sommo

     

    First shuttle: 11:45 a.m. Then 3:15pm. The last shuttle will leave Route 6 at 5:45pm. Return shuttles start leaving at 10:30 p.m. or when they are full.

     

    Ticket Price: Weekend 2 Day Pass $99 plus tax and fees. All tickets are non-refundable. Shuttles are round trip.

    Round-trip shuttle bus service is offered between the festival site and Route 6 Ranch. Buy shuttle passes HERE.

    Please get in touch with your campground to find out if shuttles are being provided.
